The process of applying for a visa to Australia as a businessperson is a challenging one. The applicant has to consult accountants and the business consultants before taking the plunge to set up a business venture in Australia.
 
Starting a business in Australia
There a many formalities of registrations to be done before one can even set up a business venture in Australia. 
 
A) Register the business for taxation purpose - The business must be registered under the taxation laws of the land before initiation of the unit.
 
B) Register the business or company name - The business venture or the company should be given a name and the name should be registered under the laws of the land. The business venture has to be registered in the state where the businessperson is going to operate. The company must also be registered under Australian Securities & Investments Commission (ASIC).
