Duration

Eligibility Criteria

A) Age - The applicant must be below the age of 45 years.
B) Employer - The employer who is looking for skilled migrants from outside Australia must prove that the company operates in Australia, has a sound financial background and that they actually require hiring a skilled worker from outside Australia. The salary of the migrant should be AUD$ 57300 for IT professionals, at least AUD$ 41850 for any other profession and the company must provide a 9 % superannuation. Applicant
The applicant must have the certain skill sets and match certain requirements as laid down by the Australian government.
A) Have the skills relevant to the nominated position - The candidate must have the requisite skills as required for the nominated skill set.
B) Satisfy one of the following skill requirements - The candidate must have sufficient English language ability. The candidate must have worked previously for at least two years under a temporary visa in Australia. The candidate must have worked for at least three years in the relevant field.
C) Health and Character - The applicant has to undergo a medical check-up. The test would be conducted under the jurisdiction of authorized doctors and the applicant must show no signs of medical complications. The applicant also must be certified clean by the local police authority as a subject of character check.
Processing Time
The total required time for processing the visa is around four to six months from the date of application.
