Migration to Australia under the Australian senior executive visa category is open to applicants who have a history of successful business activity and wish to immigrate to Australia to use these skills.
Duration
The initial four-year provisional Australian senior executive visa subclass can lead to Australian permanent residence.
Eligibility Criteria
There are some requirements that the applicant must meet in order to qualify for the Senior Executive Visa:
A) Age - The applicant must be under the age of 45 at the time of submitting the application.
B) Business Experience - Applicants must have had a successful business career, have personal and business net assets of at least AUS $ 500,000, which are capable of being transferred to Australia within 2 years. For at least 2 of the 4 years prior to application the applicant must have occupied a position in one of three of the business' highest management levels. The applicant must have been responsible for strategic policy development in a business with an annual turnover of at least AUS $ 50 million and have sufficient net assets to settle in Australia. The candidate must have notified an Australian state or territory government of business intentions and must have vocational English language ability. The applicant must establish or participate in the active management of a qualifying business in Australia, and maintain a substantial ownership interest.
Health and Character
The applicant must get himself medically checked and the check up would be conducted by the authorized medical representatives. The applicant must also get a police clearance from all the countries the applicant has lived for the last decade.
Processing Time
The senior executive visa is a complicated process and would need a minimum of nine to a maximum of twelve months to complete.
