- An applicant needs to secure at least 50 points or above in the self-assessment test that is usually conducted for apprising the qualities of a candidate. 

 

- It should be ensured that the educational and professional qualities tally with the position that is being offered to a candidate. 

 

- Candidates need to be fluent or should be able to communicate effectively either in English or in French. 

 

- Candidate should show a willingness to settle in any Canadian province.

This is specifically designed for those entrepreneurs, whose profiles are highly impressive. Besides these, candidates need to fulfil the below mentioned criteria: 

 

- Candidates need to submit a business plan that should be powerful to convince the designated authority. 

 

- Candidates need to have an asset worth of CDN$400,000. 

 

- Each applicant needs to make a deposit of CDN$100,000 before being migrated to Edward Island Immigrant Entrepreneur. However, this amount will be returned after the completion of their three years’ stay in Canada. 

 

- In addiction to that, one needs to make a deposit of CDN$25,000. This amount will be returned as soon as a candidate completes one-year stay in a particular Canadian province. 

 

- Candidates need to have sufficient level of command either in French or in English. An interview will be held to corroborate this fact. Candidates, who do not possess sufficient linguistic skills, need to make a further deposit of CDN$20,000. This category is intended to rope in those candidates who want to play a crucial role in managerial position in any Canadian provincial organization. People who want to invest are also aimed at in this category. In addiction to that, each candidate needs to satisfy these below mentioned requirements:

 

- Candidates should possess as asset worth of CDN$400,000. 

 

- Applicants have to invest at least $200,000 in a new business venture or they should acquire at least 33% stake of an existing business venture. 

 

- Candidates need to make a deposit of CDN$25,000, which is refundable after the completion of one’s stay in Canada. 

 

Furthermore, each candidate will be assessed based on his/her business experience, educational qualifications, age and linguistic ability. 

 

Under this scheme, established immigrants are given a chance to sponsor their family members, who want to migrate to Prince Edward Island. Applicants have to sit for a point based assessment test. In addiction to that, sponsored members have to meet these below mentioned criteria: 

 

- Successful candidates have to stay for a minimum period of two years after obtaining a provincial visa under this scheme.
