Requirements
To be eligible for a UK student visa, you must take an English language test before your place in a university or college is confirmed. You may sit a TOEFL or an IELTS.

The minimum scores required are 6 for IELTS and 550 for TOEFL tests.

You will not be eligible for the study abroad scheme if you do not show a suitable standard of English.

Average cost for studies in the UK
The average cost of courses based upon field can be listed below; this is a guideline so please check the education body for further information:
 
Medical £6,500 to £19,000 per year
Science £8,000 to £10,000 per year
 
Arts £7,000 to £9,000 per year
MBA £8,000 to £16,000 per year

All applicants must also consider the costs of living in the UK and must be able to support themselves during their stay here without access to public funds.

All students in the UK can receive discounted travel cards and further discounts in many areas such as clothing stores, attractions etc. They must show a valid student pass to be able to get such discounts. Not all places in the UK have discount schemes for students.
