Benefits
Under this scheme, visa is granted up for 12 months, which allows participants to remain in the United States for the entire time. Students can enter in the country at any time of the year.
Eligibility
There are some eligibility criteria, which an applicant has to fulfill to be a part of this program. Some the eligibility criteria have mention below.
Be a citizen of Ireland
The applicant must be a citizen of Ireland, as this program is specially meant for Irish people.
Completed your first year at college/university
For being a part of this program, one must complete his/her first year at college/university.
Graduated from college/university within the previous 12 months
The candidate must be a recent graduate, if applying under US Intern Work and Travel Program.
Provide proof of sufficient funds before coming to the US to support
The applicants must provide proof about their funding status that can be requited during crisis time.
Not be accompanied by dependents
Under this visa program, successful candidates are not allowed to accompany by his dependents in United States.
